On-Farm Network® Webinar: Remote Sensing for Nitrogen Management, by Dr. Tracy Blackmer.

This webinar will focus on using remote sensing to aid in managing nitrogen in corn. The primary emphasis will be in the use of aerial imagery, but some references will be made to crop canopy sensors. Discussions of strategies for In-season use as well as late season feedback will be discussed.

The Forum begins at 9:00 a.m. and includes a trade show and educational sessions throughout the day. Over the past four years, attendance at this conference, previously held in Mankato, has grown to over 300 farmers, crop consultants, water quality planners, and agency staff. This year it has been moved to Rochester. The meeting is a cooperative effort with the MN Ag Water Resource Coalition, Southern MN Nutrient Coalition, MN Dept. of Ag, NRCS, MN Pollution Control Agency, and University of MN.
